The Aveda Institute Chapel Hill offers a unique learning environment in cosmetology through hands-on, real-world experience, inspiring students to exceed expectations and seek lifelong learning beyond the traditional classroom. Aveda Beauty School in Chapel Hill promotes the belief that education encompasses more than simply learning basic technical skills. Our cosmetology curriculum is specifically designed to prepare beauty school students for the state licensing examination and allow them to learn the technical, personal and professional skills necessary to work in a salon environment. As one of the premier cosmetology schools in North Carolina we have many students from Durham, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Fayetteville, High Point and more.

SERVICES

All services are performed by supervised students. Services are offered to women, men and children 12 and older. In fairness to our guests and for safety purposes, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in any of our facilities, except when supervised by an adult/guardian not receiving a service. All prices and services subject to change.

COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM

1500 hours | 54 weeks

Aveda Institute’s cosmetology program incorporates extensive hands-on learning to provide students with a total body approach to beauty and wellness. Upon completion, graduates are ready to succeed as licensed Cosmetologists.

600 hours | 21 Weeks

The Aveda Institutes also offer an Esthetics Program. Aveda Institute’s Esthetics Program teaches skin care, body care, waxing & makeup with an emphasis on high-touch techniques using high-tech delivery during spa clinic treatments. Upon completion, graduates are ready to succeed as licensed Estheticians.
